I'm going to post soon. I am. I promise. Sorry for my absence from the blogosphere; I've been trying to read and comment as much as possible, but I just don't have the time or mental energy to crank out a post.

I do understand your point. And, just to surprise you, I'm planning to have my next baby at home. I fully support women who birth at home as long as they have a birth attendant with the skills necessary to do it safely. I would love to see a much higher percentage of women birthing at home.
@Riftsong - Well, don't make a decision like that just to surprise me!!! (
) And I agree with you. It would be so great if OBs and L&D nurses could really focus on the women who really need medical care during labor and delivery instead of having to divide their time so many ways to include women who just need to have a baby in a very routine manner.
Suuurree, we see how you are, making us low priority.
